Hello
all! Let’s get to it: the Nitty Gritty!
My
name is Kayla, and I’m not your traditional photographer. I like to show the
world as it is seen, not the way it is supposed to be seen. I like to show people
and places for what they are. (The ‘family portrait’ vs. the’ Mom and Dad trying
to wrangle the fleeing children back to their laps; all grins and giggles’! The
‘wedding’ vs. ‘capture the bride while the groom steals one last kiss’!
I
do not do just portraits. I love to show the land we live in as it really is. The
old barn, the broken warehouse window, the forgotten fence. You may see an area
in serious need of attention, but me… I see a history, a story worth capturing.
With
all that said: Please be patient with me as this is a new site. I will be
adding, removing, tweaking and re-tweaking. But never fear my dears! This will be an epic
adventure!
